I was doing a lot of work for one of my few private clients and was asked to look at product design and branding for them.

I did.

I presented my designs and they loved them.

Then the dollar collapsed and somehow or another they forgot that they asked me to do this work or even that they liked what I’d done.

I thought my EQ3 watch was rather good. A giveaway to their better customers at around $50 a watch. I can’t believe what can be made in China for so little.

This was my big chance at product design; I guess I blew it.
