De Steal House

What could an average person’s house be like, what should it be like in the late 20th century.

did I once more dare to go where only angels fear to tread? You couldn’t have held me back with a team of developers.

I designed a modest steel house that could be bought for a steal in a package, one box, of pre-cut pieces delivered to a site and assembled by the owners and their friends with power drivers, wrenches, ladders and a small mobile crane. A modern barn-raising. And just for fun, I gave them an off-the-shelf horse trough for a bath.

And did it sell? Not even a box.
